A few years ago, I decided to write a book. Yeah, it’s just that simple. The deciding part anyway. The rest has been an adventure in learning the craft. I now know that the adventure will never end. That’s a good thing, mostly because I have loads of books inside my head that need to get out and onto the written page. Or, e-reader.
My journey began when the contrast between big city living and small-town life kept popping up. These moments were too humorous and insightful not to be developed and shared.
Now, I hear voices in my head and have characters nudging for elbow room as they fight for space on the page.

Thanks so much, Kit! I jumped over to your website and I love it…very unique. I also love history. I like bringing a little education into my books and often get absorbed (or distracted) doing the research for my projects. I’m a bit jealous that it’s your sole focus, lucky you!

Oh my I just checked out your site, and yes I get it, the books that have been in my head, the need to get them written, love that I was not the only one, here I thought maybe I better not tell people of all these stories and characters that form inside begging to be written lest someone think I am nuts and lock me up! Thanks for the help, you are giving me inspiration.

I’m hooked on the Randi Lassiter series now! Part of the charm unique to your books is the small Wisconsin towns i found myself mapquesting throughout. A small town Wisconsin girl myself, it made the story so much more real, and I enjoy the contrast between big city and small town. Spent a few years away from good ole WI in a FL city of over 100k. Then we moved back. Talk about culture shock! This culture shock is so accurately portrayed that if you never experienced it, i sure can’t tell! Can’t wait to start reading the Dark Side, already on my kindle. From one writer to another-Bravo on a well-written, entertaining, addicting book!
